Registration

The registration fee, which includes coffee breaks, 1 dinner on Friday 16 March, 1 lunch on Saturday 17 March, and hotel room for 1 night (including breakfast) on 16 March at the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo, is:

• 200 EUR (180 EUR) for single room accommodation
• 165 EUR (145 EUR) for double room accommodation
• 110 EUR (90 EUR) no room

ABCD members (or participants belonging to an ABCD member’s laboratory^*) who are up-to-date with their membership fees will receive a 20 EUR discount on their registration fee.

Registration fee payments received after the deadline will be subject to a late payment charge of 30 EUR, which will be added to the total cost.

NB: The payment date is considered as the date in which payment is credited to ABCD account (not when the payment procedure is initiated).

^*To benefit from this discount, a confirmation must be provided by the direct supervisor (further details are available during registration procedure).

Upon registration, a confirmation e-mail is sent to you; this message contains, amongst other information, a reference number. Please do not process your payment without this reference number—thank you for your cooperation.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations with a refund request must be sent by e-mail to the secretariat and must be accompanied by a valid justification. Refunds will be decided case by case by the organising secretariat. If accepted, cancellations within 27 February 2012 will be refunded fully, minus an administrative charge of 30 EUR; cancellations within 5 March 2012 will be refunded only by 50% of the total package price; no refunds will be provided after 5 March 2012.

Fellowship

ABCD provides 10 fellowships to cover meeting expenses (till a maximum of 250 euro) to young ABCD members (under 35) or whose group leader is an ABCD associate (2012 ABCD subscription paid). Applications should be submitted concomitantly to the registration procedure. Note that applications will be evaluated only after payment of the registration fee.

Visit to the Magi Chapel

After the closure of the meeting, there will be a free guided tour to the Magi Chapel, beginning at 3 p.m. (Saturday, 17 March).

The chapel, located in the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi, was designed by Michelozzo and hosts La cavalcata dei Santi Re Magi verso Betlemme by the Florentine painter Benozzo Gozzoli, a pupil of Beato Angelico.

The guided tour is free but interest participants must contact the organisers within 7 March, by e-mail, at MST.2012@azuleon.org.
